packing list
Because on
occasion luggage may not make a timely arrival, it has proven wise to have each
team member pack an extra change of clothes in their carryon, as well as
anything they could not do without during their trip and all valuables such as
cameras & money.
Please
bring your personal funds in cash, make sure all the bills do not have
marks or tears (marked or torn bills are very hard to exchange into the local
currency). Many banks will not except $100.00
that have serial numbers starting with CB.
It is a good idea
to pack all items in ziploc plastic baggies. It will not only help with
organization, but will help keep things dry as well.
Items to pack
Bible, small notebook, and pen.
Toilet paper
Flashlight & extra batteries
Any medication you might need,
Immodium, Pepto Bismol, aspirins, cough drops, lip balm, etc.
Camera & film
Snacks

MEDICAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Required
Immunizations
Tetanus booster within last ten
years.
Hepatitus "A" or
"A" & "B"
On some trips Anti-Malaria pills are
also recommended. Talk to your team leader regarding your trip.
We also recommend that you consult
your personal physician and contact www.cdc.gov/travel/
to get more medical information.
TEAM PACKING IDEAS
Each team member is allowed two pieces of checked luggage and one carry-on.
We recommend that each team mmber only use one piece of luggage and their
carry-on. This will allow the team as a group to fill remaining pieces of
allowed luggage with give away items that the missionary and team leader have
decided that the team should bring.
We would prefer that you do not bring back backs with metal tubing.
