In 1989 we started coming to
Guatemala on short term mission's trips. In 1993 we made the
decision to move here to work fulltime. Wayne resigned from his
sales position, Jeny left her nursing agency, and we sold our
home. It is a decision we have never regretted and we feel like
this is our true home.
Our ministry is two fold, first we are
a bridge for teams so they can experience the mission field
firsthand and secondly we minister to the Guatemalan people. With
the teams we go to villages to work alongside national pastors in
their churches and ministries. The teams help us in evangelism,
seminars, conferences, crusades, children's ministry, medical
clinics, uplifting the poor and needy, and in the construction of
churches, pastoral houses, and Bible schools.
We have hosted over 120 teams with a total of over 1300 team members. Our work is mainly in the southwest and
northern areas of Guatemala. All the glory is to our Lord &
Savior. He has provided all of our support and
teams.
